Brooke Latuska launched Seaside Treasures with her mom when she was just 16, transforming a simple hobby of finding sea glass into a thriving jewelry business. What began as handmade earrings and necklaces quickly grew in popularity, and soon Seaside Treasures became the go-to spot for recycled jewelry in California, right in the heart of Morro Bay. Brooke reached out to us with a clear vision: she wanted to expand her digital footprint and ensure her business was prepared to thrive fully online if needed. With the uncertainty of Covid, she knew she needed a website capable of supporting her growth.

THE PROBLEM

Our first step was to give Seaside Treasures a complete website overhaul. We focused on creating a streamlined, visually engaging design that reflected Brooke’s story and values—a look that would resonate with her young, eco-conscious audience while also honoring the brand’s roots.

To reconnect with Seaside Treasures' loyal customer base, we developed targeted email and SMS campaigns designed to drive engagement and repeat sales. Through personalized messaging, we re-engaged previous customers, reminding them of Brooke’s unique recycled jewelry and inviting them to stay connected with the brand.

In addition to revitalizing her existing customer base, we launched a strategic paid advertising campaign to attract new customers online and drive more foot traffic to the Morro Bay store. Using a mix of social media ads and Google Ads, we expanded Seaside Treasures’ reach.

To top it off, we reworked the brand’s visual identity, creating a fresh, youthful look that would stand out online while still staying true to Brooke’s journey from a seaside hobby to a sustainable, successful business.

Within just three months, the online store generated more engagement and sales than it had over the previous five years combined.
